For many years, I found myself trapped in a cycle of self-doubt and uncertainty.
Fear held me back, preventing me from unlocking my true potential.
I spent my younger years in the shadows, always playing it safe, terrified of stepping into the spotlight.
Public speaking and essential life skills became my greatest challenges, and I often downplayed my brilliance, believing that allowing others to take centre stage was the best and safest way to navigate life.
But then, I experienced a profound revelation: we can all shine together, 24/7/365.
It was time for a change—a time to embrace the vibrant life I truly deserved.
Through my journey, I unearthed the tools and strategies that transformed my life.
Today, I am thrilled to share these insights with you through my motivational life coaching business.
With my One-on-One Coaching Sessions and/or my DIY Courses that I have personally created, I will give you the fun, practical tips, innovative ideas, and empowering tools designed by me :) to help you cultivate motivation, self-confidence, and essential life skills to take your life to the level you are aiming for and dreaming about.
My career started in Hospitality Management, and I then went into Sales & Marketing.
BUT... I never forgot about my true passion that I had always dreamt about since I was a child, about helping others.
Eventually, in 2008, I started my ... can't be called a job because I love it toooo much.
I studied Integral Life Coaching at the University of Cape Town Business School in the Cape Town Waterfront.
What a privilege and an honour to be chosen to study there.
I want to make a meaningful difference.
I am dedicated to inspiring others to love their lives, embrace their authentic selves, and not just focus on their goal destination, but more importantly, to enjoy the journey to happiness and success.
On a personal note, I am happily married to my gorgeous husband, Wayne, aka handsome, aka Lekker Ding, for over 32 years, and we are proud parents to our beautiful daughter, Carmen, and our handsome son, Claude.
My heart is filled with joy as I am completely and totally obsessed with my very cute but also very mischievously naughty and adorable grandson, Santiago.
Originally, I am from Cape Town, South Africa, with Portuguese roots.
I threw caution to the wind and at 50 years old, I moved to Portugal and have created my “Next Chapter & New Adventure” and now have called the stunning Silver Coast of Portugal my home for the past 4 years.
I thrive in nature, love to explore new destinations, and cherish the opportunity to meet new people.
Tragically, when I was 19 years old, I lost my only sibling, my older brother, Claude.
He was only 22.
My whole existence was shattered.
My entire life changed.
I had choices to make.
Feel sorry for myself, or create a life that was about appreciating everything and everyone.
And I am not talking about he nasty ones LOL :)
My motto was, and it still is, simple yet powerful:
"Live Life Today."
